APPLICATION PERIOD FOR SHORT WORK ALLOWANCE IS EXTENDED

Presidential Decree No. 3238 on extending the application period for short-time work allowance was published in the Official Gazette dated December 01, 2020 and entered into force. In accordance with the said decision; for workplaces applying for short-time working for the period after December 1, 2020 due to compelling reasons within the scope of periodic situations arising from external effects due to coronavirus (Covid-19) within the framework of the additional article 2 and the temporary article 23 of the Unemployment Insurance Law No.4447, the date of 30 June 2020 in the first paragraph of the provisional article 23 of the law will be applied as 31 December 2020.
